Perhaps one of the lowest mileage MGF's available, this outstanding example has covered just over 10,000 miles from new which is reflected in the condition of the car. Supplied new by Palmsville Garage in Colney Hatch, the car moved to Poole in Dorset where it was looked after by Sewards for many years.
The last owner has hardly used the car but kept the servicing up to date, including a recent cambelt change.

Bodywork
Virtually unmarked, the bodywork is dent and corrosion free, in fact it looks like it is a year old rather nearly two decades, testament to careful ownership and overnight garaging.
Mechanical
With so few miles covered, it is encouraging to see so many stamps in the service book, including regular cambelt changes. The car drives extremely well with a comfortable but sporty ride and with strong performance, a light clutch, positive gear changes and precise power steering.
Exterior
Free from marks, the car presents extremely well and has a fresh appearance, all of the light lenses are free from discolouration or marks, the hood is in great shape as are the alloy wheels, all of the tyres have plenty of tread.
Interior
With such little use, all of the trim is in excellent order with comfortable and supportive leather seats, the switchgear is all as new.

The K-Series engine can have an issue with its head gasket. Here at Beech Hill Garage every vehicle we change a cylinder head gasket on is fitted with one of our own "reconditioned" cylinder heads. Each unit is crack tested, pressure tested and face skimmed. By doing this we know we are fitting a good unit to your car. We use the latest evolution of gasket. This is a genuine MG Rover multi layered steel (MLS) gasket and stainless steel dowels. No other gasket will do.
An important part of owning certain models is the adjustment of the Hydrogas suspension. We have the right tools, environment and experience to make this routine.
