Now an appreciating classic, MGF's are becoming increasingly sought after as a great used buy. Few cars from this era sold so well when launched and the 'F' offered an easy to live with package and at a great price.
Nowadays, those that are left tend to have been well looked after and often with low mileage and this example is no exception. With less than 30K miles from new and just 2 previous owners, the car has clearly been cherished, as demonstrated by the overall condition. Supplied new by Douglas Graham in Old Windsor, the car has remained local and been to us a few times in the recent past for maintenance.
The hood is easy to open and close, there is power steering and central locking together with electric windows, the car is easy to drive and due to the innovative suspension, surprisingly comfortable.

The K-Series engine can have an issue with its head gasket. Here at Beech Hill Garage every vehicle we change a cylinder head gasket on is fitted with one of our own "reconditioned" cylinder heads. Each unit is crack tested, pressure tested and face skimmed. By doing this we know we are fitting a good unit to your car. We use the latest evolution of gasket. This is a genuine MG Rover multi layered steel (MLS) gasket and stainless steel dowels. No other gasket will do.
An important part of owning certain models is the adjustment of the Hydrogas suspension. We have the right tools, environment and experience to make this routine.

We clean and air dry the underside of your cherished classic and treat with a choice of clear or black waxoyl.
