On offer is this lovely MG TF 135 in possibly the best colour combination of Starlight silver with a navy blue roof. We've known the car since 2013 and previously sold it to the current owner. There is a comprehensive maintenance record from then which shows that the head gasket was replaced in 2013 and a reconditioned cylinder head fitted together with belts and stainless steel coolant rails.

The car is in excellent condition throughout and is testament to its low mileage and diligent upkeep.

TFs are very easy to live with, whilst carrying on the MG tradition, they benefit from remote locking, power steering, airbag, etc and make a great daily driver.

For sale on behalf of the owner.

Bodywork

All in great shape with no unsightly marks or dings, the colour really suits the lines of the car.

Mechanical

As you would expect from regular, no expense spared maintenance, the car drives extremely well, is nimble and responsive.

Exterior

Benefitting from a recent replacement rear screen and re-proofing, the hood is in good condition, the paintwork bright and with a good gloss, no obvious marks or issues.

Interior

TF interiors can often look tired but not this one. Sparing use has helped it keep its factory finish with comfortable supportive seats and being a TF sports the brighter, more modern silver aluminium effect trim. The wind stop is a valuable accessory and enables year round use as it dramatically reduces buffeting and allows the efficient heater to do its job and keep you toasty on colder mornings.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.

  • The K-Series engine can have an issue with its head gasket. Here at Beech Hill Garage every vehicle we change a cylinder head gasket on is fitted with one of our own "reconditioned" cylinder heads. Each unit is crack tested, pressure tested and face skimmed. By doing this we know we are fitting a good unit to your car. We use the latest evolution of gasket. This is a genuine MG Rover multi layered steel (MLS) gasket and stainless steel dowels. No other gasket will do.
