Repatriated from the 'States in the early nineties, this is a bright, cared for example of the delightful MGA. It has been in long term ownership and comes with a comprehensive service history including many receipts for maintenance over the years including an engine rebuild using an unleaded cylinder head conversion. In good condition throughout and running well - one to use.

For sale on behalf of owner.

Bodywork

Clean and tidy throughout with no obvious marks or damage, bright, even paintwork with an excellent gloss.

Mechanical

The car has been looked after by a retired engineer who has attended to servicing and overhaul as needed for more than two decades. Performing well during the test drive, the car is responsive with good brakes which have recently been refurbished, good oil pressure and kept cool by a reconditioned radiator. Converted to right hand drive competently on it's arrival back here in 1990.

Exterior

Subject to a full repaint many years ago, the bodywork remains in fine fettle with no visible rust or repairs.

Interior

The car has been re-trimmed at some point in the past, the vinyl seat covers are in good condition, the carpets are in good order, the dashboard tidy and sporting the correct Jaeger dials. A tasteful wooden Moto-Lita steering wheels compliments the period feel.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.
