Converted to V8 specification a long time ago, this car is correctly registered on the V5C as a V8, is in lovely condition having been cared for by the previous owner for many years. Sitting on a period correct Minilite style alloy wheels, it has not long ago had a complete brake overhaul which included the fitting of Willwood calipers.

Sounding glorious, the car has fantastic performance and an even better sound track. The engine is a later Rover SD1 unit with the robust LT77 5-speed gearbox.

The car is currently going through the workshop where we are re-bushing the suspension and setting up the suspension correctly.

Why have the hassle of a V8 conversion yourself when this example is on the button and, wow, does this car really does go!

All our vehicles are available for viewing in our dry, well lit storage facility which is nearby. Viewing by appointment only please, preferably Thursday, Friday or Saturday morning when you can assure you our best of attention.

Bodywork

Beautiful metallic blue paintwork completes a most attractive package, the car underwent a bare metal repaint some time ago, we have the photos to show the extent of the work carried out. By the time of sale we will have carried out a couple of cosmetic repairs to ensure it is in pristine order.

Mechanical

There are extensive bills covering the mechanical work carried out to the car showing diligent maintenance complimented by MoT certificates going back to the mid nineties. The car has been on the road throughout and is a reliable and easy starter. it will be fully serviced before it leaves us with any works attended to.

Exterior

With an aggressive stance sat on the alloy wheels, the car really does look as if it means business! All of the trim is in great shape as are the lights and badges. The car is not currently fitted with overriders but they do come with the car, if that's your preference.

Interior

Suiting the exterior colour well, the Autumn leaf interior is in very good order and gives the interior an extremely attractive light feeling. All of the switchgear works correctly, the starter has been converted to a push button arrangement.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.
