A bright example of the ever popular MG Midget but a rare MKIII example retaining many of the earlier features. Most attractive colour combination of British Racing Green with black leather trim piped in white. With the last owner since 2009, we've seen the car over this time and carried out routine maintenance and replacement of suspension and braking parts.

With their compact proportions they are a hoot to drive and will easily fit in a modern garage whilst being nimble on the move and really easy to drive.

Bodywork

This is a really solid example that has clearly been looked after over the years with no issues evident and a clean bill of health from a ramp inspection.

Mechanical

On the button and ready to go, the car is an easy starter and has a wonderful rasp to the exhaust note. The car performed well on test with sharp, direct handling and a sporty ride. The car will be fully serviced before it leaves us.

Exterior

The car presents very well with a good hood that is easy to erect and lower, full and short tonneau covers are in the boot, the exterior trim is all present and correct, the chrome is good and it sits well on attractive chrome wire wheels.

Interior

Retaining its black with white piped trim, it is a cosy and attractive place to be, the instruments work well and there is a radio should you need it (unlikely!). It is all in good condition and the seats proved to be very comfortable.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.
