Aluminium radiator, Evans waterless coolant, Kenlowe electric fan

5 speed gearbox

Limited slip differential gearbox

Bodywork

Fully refurbished including several new panels, superb paint and panel fit, delightful detailing including bonnet louvres.

Mechanical

As you would expect, the mechanical modifications make for a spectacular driving experience - who'd have thought that an MGB could perform like this on the road?

Exterior

The overall appearance is stunning, really set off by the now rare Bermuda style hardtop, there is also a detachable soft top stored in the boot.. The wire wheels are shod with good tyres.

Interior

Trimmed tastefully in tan hide, every surface has been beautified from the walnut effect dashboard through to the alcantara door cappings. Many tasteful modifications have been made including a high end stereo and electric windows.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.

  • If you are going to use your MGB for everyday use, for competition, or your current gearbox is giving you trouble then our Mazda gearbox conversion might be an ideal solution for you.

  • When you own a classic car knowing where to get the best spare parts is crucial. We have a dedicated Parts Manager who will track down the best quality and hardest to find part for your car, we like to call this Automotive Archaeology, if it’s available ... we will find it.

  • Classic cars are special, and we can provide MOT testing for yours.

  • We clean and air dry the underside of your cherished classic and treat with a choice of clear or black waxoyl.

  • If you need to store your classic car for a short period or more long term, wouldn't it be reassuring to know that it was being stored by a highly skilled professional team who love their work?

  • When your car is with us we have a wide selection of courtesy cars for you to use.
