On offer is this stunning MGB GT finished in beautiful Flame red with black trim. The car has been extensively restored over the past five years and now presents extremely well with an entirely standard appearance inside and out including refurbished 'Rostyle' wheels. A Heritage certificate accompanies the paperwork that goes with the car along with a spare set of original keys.

These delightful Coupes are very easy to live with being practical enough to use every day if desired and it is rare to find one in unmolested original condition.

Subject to a full bare metal, glass out repaint following replacement sills, doors and other minor bodywork, the bodywork is excellent with spot on panel fit and a high level of attention to detail. The paintwork is superb with an excellent gloss and looks quite splendid, the engine bay has been detailed to bring the whole car up to an extremely high standard.

Having been dry stored for many years prior to restoration, the car has been fully recommissioned by us with invoices on file for nearly £5,000 including brake system overhaul, new rear springs and Spax dampers, steering and other service items. The car was supplied from new with overdrive which works well, the car drives nicely and is quiet and comfortable on the move/

Much of the brightwork is new, all other items are either new or refurbished making for a very bright appearance. The refurbished wheels are shod with five new Barum tyres.

Fully refurbished, the trim is new and is the rare type with a cloth centre making the seats more comfortable both in winter and summer, new quality carpets have been fitted, new seat belts and all trim panels.

March 2022 - The engine bay was recently stripped of all fittings including removing the engine then resprayed and refitted with new or reconditioned parts. It now looks superb!

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.
