MGB Roadster - SOLD
Absolutely stunning, restored MGB Roadster. This car has to be among the best MGB restorations we have seen in recent years. The car was professionally restored with a new shell 22 years ago and having covered less than 15,000 since that time, it remains in almost as new condition. This car drives just well as it looks and with some really practical enhancements including hydraulic power steering and upgraded suspension, ride and handling are beyond compare with many standard variants. Performance from the fully reconditioned power unit and transmission is also enhanced with a quality electronic ignition system. There are also many tasteful trim enhancements to the car including seats, door handles and period 'Blaupunkt' stereo, making it such a joy to live with for the next owner.
All our vehicles are available for viewing in our dry, well lit storage facility which is nearby. Viewing by appointment only please, preferably Thursday, Friday or Saturday morning when you can assure you our best of attention.
Bodywork
In totally rust free condition having been fitted with a new body shell in 1996 and been treated with 'waxoyl' protection. The red paintwork beautifully smooth and bright in all areas.
Mechanical
In first class order in every respect. The car drives very smoothly and without any fuss or unpleasant sounds.
Exterior
In remarkable condition throughout. Re furbished wire wheels remain clean and bright and are fitted with quality Michelin radial tyres. All chrome is in almost new condition, as are the exhaust, lights, glass and vinyl hood.
Interior
Completely restored with new trim components when re built and includes new dashboard and seat cover at that time. Beautiful, crisp, clean condition and all switch-gear functions in full working order.
