We are delighted to be able to offer this delightful MG Midget 1500 in bright Inca Yellow with contrasting black hood and black interior.

The car has clearly been cherished from new and garaged for at least the past 20 years in the ownership of the current custodian.

The low mileage is supported by a huge history file including old MoT certificates and which supports the fine mechanical and body condition of the car. Plugs in the door shuts and sills suggest that the car benefits from having been rustproofed when new, helping to preserve its outstanding condition.

Only available for sale due to lack of use having covered around 2000 miles in the past decade.

See it, buy it and use it - it's on the button and ready to enjoy the sunshine.

For sale on behalf of the owner.

Bodywork

Unusually blemish and rot free, the overall impression is of a stunning and cared for car with what appears to be largely factory paint. All of the satin black accents are also in great condition and the entire car is unmolested and original looking.

Mechanical

The car performed beautifully on test with a zesty engine and the typical Midget go-kart like driving experience. The clutch and brakes are spot on and it is light and easy to drive without fuss.

Exterior

The hood appears to be the original but having been garaged for most of its life, it is in good order with a clear back window and all fasteners intact. The bumpers are scuff free and all of the ectrical equipment is free from damage and works well. The wheels are the originals and are in good condition, the tyres have plenty of tread.

Interior

Totally original, the seats are supportive and without damage, the carpets are the original period British Leyland offering with the loop pile holding up well. All switches work fine, the original steering wheel will come with the car although the current Mot-Lita fitment is very pleasant to grip.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.
