The MG MGB Roadster is the classic British two-door sports car of choice. In production from 1962 to 1980 it provides affordable fun, simple mechanics, and an iconic design. The choice of chrome bumpers on the earlier cars through to later rubber ones introduced as a result of evolving US safety laws provides a wide choice of styles to suit most pockets. All were fitted with a popular 1899cc B-Series engine and some with the optional overdrive, making it a beloved classic with strong community support and readily available parts. Manufactured with a steel monocoque (unibody) construction, which was advanced for its time, it is long lived although if neglected, can deteriorate but with such good parts availability, most cars can be restored. Better still, buy a good car in the first place like this lovely example!
