FULL TIME SERVICE MANAGER REQUIRED AT BEECH HILL GARAGE – MARCH 2025

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and resourceful team member to assist in the running of our respected business. Your role will be running our busy workshop.
We have been MG specialists for over 45 years and are extremely proud of our excellent reputation. We aim to maintain this by constantly providing our customers with friendly, reliable and value for money service.

Working Hours
8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday



Essential Experience
Technical knowledge of classic British sports cars.
Dealing with customers face to face in a knowledgeable and friendly way.
Managing people and efficiently working with processes.



Role
To manage the Workshop and support the Managing Director, William de la Rivière, in most aspects of the business.

From the outset you will have sole responsibility for running our service department of 4 mechanics with jobs ranging from servicing to full restorations of classic cars.
As a small business with a focus on high quality customer service, you will be involved in all aspects of the business; we also have a classic car sales department and a classic vehicle storage facility.

You will be encouraged to engage in the running of the business and support development of our offer at a strategic level.



At interview you will need to prove that you have the following skills and attributes:

• highly motivated and organised.
• able to effectively communicate with customers and our team.
• learn quickly with the ability to work independently.
• able to work in a logical and cost-effective manner.
• take pride in your appearance, your work and have excellent attention to detail.
• able to keep work areas clean and tidy.
• you must have own transport and a full UK driving licence.



You will you be working with our small friendly team who share a passion for our type of cars. You will have the use of our workshop ramps in your own time. We offer a generous staff discount on parts.
The excellent Elm Tree pub is a 5-minute walk away for an end-of-day wind-down.
