1952 MG TD - SOLD

On offer is this delightful left hand drive MG TD finished in cream with tan trim. Subject to an older restoration, the car remains in excellent condition throughout with fresh paint still visible in all four arches and as clean as a whistle underneath. The car starts, runs and drives extremely well and is comfortable on the move with good steering feel and precise brakes, by the standards of 1952!
Importantly, the car comes with a full compliment of weather equipment which is all in excellent condition, the trim appears to have been replaced during the restoration and again, is in fine order.
Ideal for continental touring or perhaps to keep at your holiday home, this lovely TD is 'on the button' and ready to go.

The older restoration is holding up extremely well with a good solid feel to the body tub and a high standard of panel fit, there is no evidence of corrosion and the underside still displays fresh paint.

Whilst we have no history, it appears that the car was fully rebuilt mechanically during the restoration process with a strong engine displaying minimal oil leaks - unusual for one of these. On the move the car drives very nicely with good stability, progressive brakes and a willing engine.

The car presents extremely well with minor marks, the paintwork is bright and shiny with the car having been painted to a good standard. The wheels have been refurbished and are shod with good quality tyres, all of the trim and exterior brightwork is in good condition especially the hood and side screens.

It looks as if the interior was retrimmed during the restoration and has taken on a very nice patina, the seats being supportive and comfortable, the carpets are near new and all of the gauges and dials work.
