1974 MG MGB Roadster - SOLD

We are delighted to be able to offer this striking MGB Roadster, resplendent in bright yellow with contrasting black trim. The car comes with an extensive history file showing that the car was restored in the early 90's by the Cardiff MG Centre with minimal use since. The car has been in long term ownership between then, a Mr Abrahams having cherished the car between 1995 and 2010 with just two owners since, most recently with a local coachtrimmer. An ideal first classic car, this MG is in lovely condition, drives really well and offers affordable top down motoring.

Despite having been restored several decades ago, the car has been seldom used and clearly dry stored as the bodywork and paint are in excellent condition with only minor marks.

The car performed really well on an extended test drive with a nice light clutch, easy gear changes, sprightly performance and one of the smoothest overdrives I've encountered. Brakes are well up to scratch, pulling the car up straight and without fuss.

All of the chrome is in good condition, the lights and lenses are intact and undamaged, the car benefits from a newish hood, expertly fitted, the chrome wire wheels are bright and clean and are shod with newish looking Dunlop tyres.

With excellent half cloth seats, the interior is really comfortable with unworn carpets and a full walnut effect trim kit fitted covering the dashboard, centre console and door cappings.
