Previously sold by ourselves, this is an absolutely stunning example, supplied new to South Africa, original right hand drive, restored in the early nineties and still in outstanding condition. Extensive history including recent expenditure by the owner, invoices from ourselves and respected specialist Robin Lackford, invoices and MoT certificates going back to the nineties. The car was featured in the MGOC Enjoying MG magazine in May 2001, a copy of which comes with the car and again in September 2003 in MG World magazine. There are MoT certificates dating back to the restoration and hand written notes detailing the extent of the restoration work.

Outstanding value, for sale on behalf of the owner.

All vehicles are now stored in our new offsite showroom which allows undercover, well lit viewing , therefore an appointment is recommended.

Bodywork

The bodywork is in excellent condition with bright, even and glossy paintwork, the panel gaps are the best that we've seen on an MGA for some time.

Mechanical

Driving well with no untoward noises, the restoration covered every aspect and with subsequent diligent maintenance, the car performs very well.

Exterior

The car is fitted with an excellent quality mohair hood, comes with sidescreens to complete the weather equipment, all of the chrome work is excellent as are the chrome wire wheels. There is a tailored car cover that comes with the car to keep it looking its best.

Interior

Again, one of the smartest interiors we have seen on an MGA for some time with a near perfect dashboard which has been recently repainted, the instruments are in fine order and there is a delightful period radio which has been updated to allow modern media to be played.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.
