1969 Triumph GT6+ - SOLD

We are delighted to be able to offer this truly superb Triumph GT6+ which is being offered for sale on behalf of one our more discerning customers. He commissioned the restoration of this unique example nearly 10 years ago and the results are most impressive.

The car is in amazing condition with no a spec of rust anywhere and with the underside still in body colour, the workmanship is excellent.

Whilst restoring the car, the owner chose to upgrade the somewhat basic trim to a sumptuous perforated red leather with all surfaces now either in maroon leather, vinyl and with a grey alcantara dashtop to reduce glare. The seats are heated and it even has electric windows.

Everywhere you look, the finish is superb.

As you would expect, the car is lovely to drive and has no untoward creaks or rattles which often plague these separate chassis Triumphs. The car is fitted with a Ford Type 9 5-speed gearbox

Absolutely solid, the car having been restored using an ex dry State USA shell and then converted to right hand drive. The quality of the workmanship throughout is excellent.

Drives pot on with everything having been rebuilt, reconditioned or sourced new including many Stanpart items.

Presented beautifully on a set of Minilite alloy wheels shod with excellent tyres, all of the exterior brightwork is excellent as are the delicate trim items, the headlights are upgraded items.

Here the car absolutely stands apart from others in that it has a custom trimmed interior trimmed mostly in perforated red leather. The seats are very supportive, the wood is excellent and the car benefits from electric windows, a DAB stereo and handsfree kit. The rear deck is a delight and looks superb.
