1969 MG MGC Roadster - SOLD

We are delighted to offer this stunning, fully restored MGC Roadster in beautiful Primrose yellow with black leather trim. The car returned from a US dry state where is was registered when new having been supplied by Los Gatos British Motors. The car was in extremely sound condition which explains the excellent panel fit and general solidity.

A local MGC specialist has fully restored the car and every components has either been replaced or refurbished, all of the work completed to a very high standard.

As a result of the attention to detail, the car drives extremely well, the engine in particular is a delight having been balanced to further accentuate the smooth power delivery from its lusty six cylinder engine.

Offered at a fraction of what it would cost to commission a fully restoration, the car represents excellent value and will not doubt prove to be an excellent investment.

The owner tells us that just one sill required replacement during the restoration, this being due to clumsy jacking rather than corrosion. The remainder of the car is sound, original metal which has been taken back to bare metal and then fully repainted. Panel fit is excellent and the overall appearance is stunning.

As described, the engine has been balanced during an extensive reconditioning process. It runs extremely well, remains cool in operation and shows excellent oil pressure whilst offering spirited performance and a wonderful soundtrack. The overdrive is one of the smoothest I've encountered.

As you would expect, the exterior condition is virtually as new, the paint bright and very glossy, the hood is new and all of the brightwork is either new or refurbished.

The seats have been retrimmed and new carpets have been fitted, the dashboard reconditioned and all of the gauges overhauled.
