2005 MG TF 135 Sunstorm - SOLD

A fine example of the popular MG TF 135, rare in Sunstorm limited edition trim. We've looked after the car for the past few years and can confirm that it is in fine fettle having had an uprated sports exhaust recently fitted and a K-Maps ECU upgrade to release a little more performance. As a result, this is one of the quickest 135's we've driven and with excellent handling yet easy to drive quickly. The history file is extensive with lots of old MoTs, stamped service book and is up to date. In the past it has also had a 'comfort pack' fitted which makes the car nicer to drive on our potholed road.

Many classic MG owners are now adding TF's to their stable as they are so practical and easy to live with having modern attributes like central locking, ABS brakes and airbags yet with the traditional open air motoring benefits and a link to MG heritage.

Equipped with the factory supplied hardtop and wind stop, the package is compelling added to which, the car is low mileage and in great condition making it an attractive proposition for both summer and winter months.

In excellent condition throughout, the bodywork is free from dents and scrapes and it appears to have been kept in a garage for most of its life.

As described, the car has had a few 'tweaks' to release a few more horses and it certainly feels as if this has given the car more urge and with a pleasant exhaust note. These cars handle extremely well and this one is no exception with firm but progressive brakes, a light clutch and swift gearchange all adding up to a favourable driving experience. Benefitting from a full service history, it is clear that the car has been well loved.

The paintwork is largely blemish free with a good even gloss, the car sits on the optional 11 spoke alloy wheels which accommodate the larger brakes as fitted on these limited edition models, the colour matched hardtop is a big bonus and enables snug motoring all year round. 

In excellent condition, the Sunstorm featured the attractive charcoal and 'smoke' alcantara trim but this car also has the most attractive grey dasboard and door cards making the interior feel light and spacious, certainly roomier than the current model Mazda MX5. The car also comes with a soft cover for the hardtop when it is being stored.
