MG MGB Roadster - SOLD
A lovely MGB Roadster from the BMC era which retains all of the charm of the earlier models and unusually still fitted with steel wheels and hub caps. Restored a decade ago, the car remains in outstanding condition throughout and drives beautifully.
With zero rust evident, the car presents very well, sitting square on good tyres and with a detailed engine bay, it is a car to be proud of whilst being practical enough for regular use.
Offering excellent value for money, these cars are relatively inexpensive to insure, qualify for zero road tax and are MoT exempt.
For sale on behalf of our customer and available for viewing in our dry, well lit sales barn, by appointment please.
Bodywork
An extremely sound body with good panel gaps and no evidence of any issues.
Mechanical
The car is an easy starter and runs and drives very well, the car is fitted with the desirable overdrive option which works well and aids higher speed cruising. The car performed very well on test with a lively, torquey engine and with a lovely exhaust rasp.
Exterior
Simply lovely, these early B's have a character of their own and seem to straddle the 60's and 70's very well whilst maintaining the MG tradition. Nothing detracts form the fine appearance of the car, especially as it is fitted with the detachable hood arrangement maintaining the cockpit line and freeing up some space behind the seats.
Interior
Clearly retrimmed at some point in the past, probably during the restoration, the seats are beginning to take on a nice patina and are very comfortable, the carpets are excellent and all of the switchgear works well.

However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.
