This late MK3 Midget offers arguably the most desirable specification of any of the chrome bumpered cars with its round rear wheel arches, anti-theft steering lock and updated switchgear. With their peppy, free revving 1275cc engine and kart like handling, no wonder they were so popular in their day, and remain so now.

With just two owners from new and restored by ourselves over 10 years ago, this delightful Mallard Green Midget nicknamed 'Tiny', has been with the current owners for decades. Seldom used, the owner has now decided that the time has come to part with the car and allow someone else to enjoy it.

During the restoration the car was completely dismantled and the bodywork refurbished to a very high standard and all mechanical components either renewed or overhauled and an Ivor Searle reconditioned engine fitted.

The car drives beautifully, as you would expect, and will be fully serviced before it leaves us.

Much cheaper than the cost of the restoration, this delightful car represents excellent value for money.

For sale on behalf of the owner.

Available for viewing, by appointment please, in our dry and well lit showroom offsite.

In as new condition throughout, excellent panel gaps and with a good strong shell.

Virtually unused since the restoration, with minor fettling the car now performs brilliantly.

Having been dry stored since the restoration, the paintwork retains an excellent gloss, all of the trim and brightwork was replaced and is in excellent condition, the wheels and tyres remain as new, the hood was new and the rear window clear, there is a short tonneau with the car too.

Everything has either been refurbished or replaced and as such remain in super condition, all of the dials work correctly.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.
