This car is in outstanding original condition and is virtually unmarked inside and out. The bright, clean bodywork is remarkably well preserved as a result of extensive wax treatment from new and the car is believed to have been dry stored for at least the last 10 years. Having covered only 58,400 miles from new, the car is smooth and comfortable to drive and is probably one of the very best surviving examples of the marque. Viewing recommended.

Bodywork

The bodywork of this Marina 1.7 HL Estate is remarkably well preserved having benefited from underbody wax treatment from new. The paintwork and chrome / black trim is in good condition.

Mechanical

Having been recently re commissioned from 10 years plus inside storage, the car has had the ignition, fuel, transmission and braking systems overhauled as part of extensive servicing in our own workshops using genuine parts. On test the car drives and handles very smoothly in all road conditions.

Exterior

The original paintwork and trim is clean, bright and in good condition.

Interior

The black velour upholstery, carpets and dash are in remarkable condition having clearly been very well looked after. The Marina Estate provides generous accommodation and luggage space for five adults and this one is in sharp, clean condition.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.

  • When you own a classic car knowing where to get the best spare parts is crucial. We have a dedicated Parts Manager who will track down the best quality and hardest to find part for your car, we like to call this Automotive Archaeology, if it’s available ... we will find it.

  • Classic cars are special, and we can provide MOT testing for yours.

  • We clean and air dry the underside of your cherished classic and treat with a choice of clear or black waxoyl.

  • If you need to store your classic car for a short period or more long term, wouldn't it be reassuring to know that it was being stored by a highly skilled professional team who love their work?

  • When your car is with us we have a wide selection of courtesy cars for you to use.
