A quite special, restored and upgraded MGB Roadster. Originally a GT, the car was completely rebuilt using a Heritage roadster bodyshell. Several high end mechanical enhancements including gas shocks suspension, ventilated front brakes and impressive Oselli 'graduate' 2 litre stage 2 tuned engine. Known to us for over 20 years, the car has been meticulously maintained, is in stunning condition inside and out and is a fantastic classic MGB drive.

Bodywork

Factory body shell replacement in 1988. Such is the quality of this restoration, paintwork and waxoyl under body protection, the car remains in beautiful, rust free condition.

Mechanical

After many mechanical upgrades including 1995 cc Oselli 'fast road' engine, gas shocks enhanced suspension, parabolic rear springs and many other enhancements to specification, the car is maintained in tip top condition. Drives and handles very responsively.

Exterior

The car is in very attractive condition and has been maintained beautifully since restoration. The recently fitted minilite-style alloy wheels, tyres, bumpers and chrome fittings are all in excellent condition.

Interior

The black leather seats (red piping) and high quality black carpets have been very well looked after following a re fit soon after the car was restored. The dash and instruments are all in excellent condition and the car is fitted with attractive 'moto-lita' polished wood / aluminium steering. The fitted after market, inertia real seat belts are a very useful enhancement to the car.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.

  • If you are going to use your MGB for everyday use, for competition, or your current gearbox is giving you trouble then our Mazda gearbox conversion might be an ideal solution for you.
