A most imposing example of this fine motor car, finished in Old English White with a lovely black leather interior. Repatriated to the UK in 2017 but retaining left hand drive, the car had previously been restored in the USA to a very good standard. Having been used sparingly by the current owner, the car remains in pristine condition, is on the button and ready for continental touring or perhaps just a run down to the pub.

An internet search reveals many photos from its time both here and in the USA and clearly previous owners have cherished the car.

The numbers all match the factory records and search on the Jaguar Heritage website reveals that it was built in December 1956 and first registered in early 1957.

There is extensive history with the car including the title document together with the UK V5C logbook.

For sale on behalf of the owner, sold without warranty.

Bodywork

Simply stunning with near flawless paint, excellent panel fit and shut lines.

Mechanical

Clearly restored to a high standard but looking original, just how we like to see them. The car performed really well on the move and despite its size, motors along beautifully.

Exterior

All of the trim and brightwork is in excellent condition and it shows off its heritage through the commemorative badging on the bootlid, the hood is of excellent quality and fits extremely well.

Interior

Beautiful wood, excellent switchgear, supremely comfortable seats - what a lovely place to be!

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.
