1969 MG MGC Roadster - SOLD

On offer is a superb example of the MGC Roadster finished in a lovely Primrose Yellow with black leather trim. 

Freshly restored, with just 40 shake down miles since, the car drives beautifully with a strong engine, slick gearchange and precise overdrive the car is a delight.

Sourced from Southern California so converted from left hand to right hand drive, the restoration required minimal bodywork but has had fresh paint, a new interior and completely rebuilt mechanicals including a balanced engine by a local 'C' expert.

Sitting on chrome wire wheels, the overall impression is of a fine example that would suit the most fastidious of owners.

Virtually flawless with good panel fit, no rust and absolutely rock solid throughout.

The car has been refreshed throughout including an engine rebuild by respected specialists, Classic & Modern, who balanced the engine, essential to get the best out of these lusty 3 litre units. Elsewhere, everything it either new or reconditioned, the under bonnet area is particularly impressive including a new clutch etc. As you would expect, the drive is tight and responsive and without rattles or vibration.

The colour really suits the car and with mostly new trim, the impression is of a new vehicle set off by those expensive MWS chrome wire wheels shod with new Falken tyres. The hood and frame are new, as is the windscreen and the bumpers.

Again, everything is either new or refurbished including a set of new quality mould carpets together with new trim, seat covers and switchgear. Despite being a soft top, the car still has a wonderful aroma and the view over the bonnet is glorious.
