Hillman Minx - SOLD
Recently taken in part exchange, we have on offer this now rare Hillman Minx Series 3A finished in an attractive olive green and foam white colour scheme. This particular example runs and drives extremely well and whilst we haven't given it a thorough inspection, on the whole it seems quite sound. The bodywork has had various repairs but overall it is presentable and would hold its own should you wish to take it to classic car shows. Similarly, the interior is in good condition for its age, all of the controls work and it bowls along nicely and feels quite modern to drive.
These Series 3A models are arguably the most desirable as they have the delightful fins that were so popular towards the end of the fifties and the two tone colour scheme which really makes the car stand out.
Due to the age of the car and our inexperience of this model, it is being sold on a spares or repair basis and without warranty - ramp inspection is available by appointment.

Mechanical
On the button, a willing performer, steering brakes etc all good. There are receipts on file which suggest an engine and gearbox overhaul were carried out not that long ago.

Attractive colour scheme, all of the trim is present.
Interior
Fair to good, a slight split in the front bench seat, importantly, it has the floor gearchange and front seat belts.
