1969 MG Midget MKII - SOLD

We are delighted to offer this very pretty MG Midget that has been in the same family since new. The car was extensively restored over a 10 year period with much of the work being carried out by respected restoration specialists, R S Coachworks. The car remains in outstanding condition, drives superbly and is in one of the best colours, Mineral Blue. To complete the package, we have just fitted new wire wheels and tyres.

These cracking little sports cars are a hoot to drive with zippy engines and predictable handling.

Excellent paint and panel fit confirm the impression of a very straight and tidy car with no rust issues. The accompanying history shows that the car was extensively restored with many new panels ensuring that, if looked after, it will need occasional rust proofing and nothing more.

During the restoration, the car had many mechanical components renewed, replaced or reconditioned. As a result, it drives extremely well with direct, go-kart like steering and makes all of the right noises. The car will be fully serviced before it leaves us.

All of the chrome and other brightwork is in fine order, the lights are in good condition with everything working as it should. New wire wheels have been fitted along with a set of new quality tyres.

Re-trimmed in the past, the seats are in great shape being supportive and comfortable. All of the instrumentation is working well and the dashboard finish remains good.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner!
