We have looked after this B since 2006 for the previous owners, a retired couple from Basingstoke. We sold the car on their behalf to the current owner two years ago.

It is fitted with a lively 1950cc Fast Road engine fed by a single 45DCOE Webber through to a stainless steel exhaust system. It has an overdrive gearbox. The suspension has been uprated to produce an excellent handling car without creating a bone-shaker!

The body is in good structural condition and is painted in classic British Racing Green with silver painted Minilite style wheels with a recently replaced OE black vinyl hood with zip-out rear window.

The interior is smart in all black. Vinyl seats, trim and carpet are all in good condition. The dashboard, door cappings and centre console have the popular walnut veneer panels and a new Kenwood CD Radio has recently been added.

The MOT was carried out by us and expires September 2012. We also serviced it in September.

There is the largest history folder we’ve ever seen for a MGB including the original BL Passport to Service, a Heritage Certificate and copies of all logbooks since its repatriation to the UK from Texas in 1990.

This is well maintained example that has been kept in good condition, it is lots of fun to drive and makes a superb sound too.
