Refreshingly original in appearance, this fully restored MGC has come to us from one of our long standing customers who has restored this lovely example to near new condition. Repatriated to the UK in 2016, the car has been fully rebuilt and is accompanied by a thick folder containing invoices for all parts used in its refurbishment.

Whilst 'different' to drive than an MGB, the MGC has a character all of its own with effortless power and a truly solid feel that only comes with multi-cylinder engines. Equipped with overdrive, this car would make an ideal long distance tourer.

The finished product is superb and will make its new owner proud to take delivery.

For sale on behalf of the owner.

Bodywork

Fully restored with new panels as required, the fit is excellent with lots of attention to detail, high gloss finish to the paint which is, of course, the desirable British Racing Green.

Mechanical

As with the bodywork, every aspect of the running gear has seen attention with most items being renovated or replaced with bills to prove. As you would expect, the car drives very well.

Exterior

Again, most of the brightwork and lighting has been renewed and the chrome replaced. The hood is new and the overall appearance is stunning. The now rare steel wheels have been refurbished and fitted with new tyres.

Interior

The car sports a set of new black leather with white piping seat covers and new carpets. All of the switchgear operates correctly as does the heater, all in all a very appealing place to be.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.

  • When you own a classic car knowing where to get the best spare parts is crucial. We have a dedicated Parts Manager who will track down the best quality and hardest to find part for your car, we like to call this Automotive Archaeology, if it’s available ... we will find it.
