1958 MG MGA Roadster - SOLD

We are delighted to be able to offer this immediately useable MGA Roadster that drives extremely well. The car has been with the last owner for many years having been repatriated from California in the late Eighties. It was restored some time ago, the history with the car suggests that it has had regular maintenance and routine jobs have been attended to and although there are few miles between MoT's, the car has been run regularly.

If you are looking for a well presented and fully functioning MGA, but not a show queen, this could well be the car for you. With pristine examples now priced into the late thirties, this example offers excellent value and an opportunity to improve the car to the level you might want.

Restored many years ago, the car remains presentable with no major dings or marks but has picked up a few paint chips over the decades.

Benefiting from regular maintenance, the car feels and drives extremely well on the move and revealed no untoward knocks or rattles even on our extremely bumpy access road. 

The overall impression is of a solid, well maintained and loved car, the panel gaps are fair to good, all of the exterior brightwork is present and correct. The car is equipped with a hood and the sidescreens are in the boot meaning that it can be left watertight. It also has a full tonneau cover, great for solo driving.

The interior would have been restored when the bodywork was completed and remains in good condition. The dashboard and dials are in great order, the view over the imposing steering wheel is delightful.
