1956 Wolseley 15/50 - £11,995

On offer is this delightful early Wolseley 15/50 finished in traditional black with red leather trim. Having previously sold the car, we know it well having looked after it for over 10 years. More recently, it's been living on the South Coast but the owner has now brought it back to us to pass on to a new owner.

No expense has been spared in recent years in keeping it in top running condition and it does drive very nicely indeed. Whilst not the quickest, it will happily keep up with modern traffic up to about 60mph.

There is a huge wad of receipts with the car together with a useful summary of recent expenditure which includes a full engine inspect together with reconditioned cylinder head, new clutch, alternator upgrade and some refreshing of the bodywork.

Having owned a 15/50 myself for several years, I know what a delight they are being both practical and eye catching with many people remembering them from their youth.

Offered for sale on behalf of our customer, therefore sold without warranty of any kind.

Subject to some recent minor fettling, this a good solid example.

With much recent expenditure, the car performed very well on test and despite the many potholes around us, rides very well putting many newer cars to shame with the level of refinement.

The overall condition is impressive with deep glossy black paint and few small marks here and there, the chrome is a little pitted in places but not so as to detract from the appearance.

As soon as you open the door, you are greeted by the lovely smell of aged leather, the whole ambience is complimented by the wooden dashboard and fine array of gauges.
