Probably the best example available for sale currently, this lovely Midget is in superb condition throughout. Subjected to a painstaking full Heritage shell rebuild, the attention to detail has resulted in not only a visibly stunning example but one that also drives extremely well too.

Supplied new to a dealer in Essex, the car is finished in it's original and very rare Damask Red complimented by correct black trim and carpets.

The history for the car is extensive and is housed in a bespoke leather wallet which includes photos going back over several owners including one from very early on in it's life. A previous owner has spent much time researching its history which makes interesting reading.

The mechanical condition is such that the car is really easy to drive, with a very light clutch and the typically peppy 1275 A series engine whisking the car along - it's great fun and a joy on the twisty country lanes around here.

Offered at a price way below the cost to restore a similar car, it represents excellent value for money and will no doubt provide its new owner with many miles of pleasure.

Available to view in our dry, well lit and secure sales barn, by appointment please.

Bodywork

Near faultless, the Heritage shell and paint are one of the finest restorations we have seen. The finish is probably better than new!

Mechanical

Fully rebuilt during the restoration, the Ivor Searle reconditioned engine is an absolute honey, everything else is still in near new condition having either been replaced or reconditioned. On an extended test drive, the car was a delight with no issues.

Exterior

Simply stunning, the chrome wire wheels are as new, the paintwork is near flawless and all of the brightwork and trim is in near new condition. The hood is excellent with clear windows and a short tonneau accompanies the car.

Interior

Everything must have been restored or replace during the rebuilt as it presents as a near new car, the dashboard finish is as new and everything works as it should, the seat covers are period correct and the carpets in excellent order.
