On offer is this stunning 1972 MGB Roadster finished in British Racing Green with black leather trim. Having previously sold the car to the current owner, we've looked after it since so we know the car well. It has been a no expense spared relationship and the condition of the car clearly demonstrates this.

Clearly having been restored at some point in the past, there are invoices going back to 1995 when it lived in Wiltshire, and the continuous maintenance record suggests that it has been regularly enjoyed.

The car has been upgraded over the years including chrome wire wheels, stainless oversills, uprated seats, walnut dashboard, power steering, hazard warning lights, boot rack etc.

It performed faultlessly on test and has been given a clean bill of health from our workshop inspection.

The overall condition is fantastic and will make the next owner truly proud to show it off.

Available for viewing, by appointment please, in our dry and well lit sales barn.

For sale on behalf of the owner and on a commission basis, therefore without warranty.

Bodywork

In excellent condition with good panel fit and a very sound structure.

Mechanical

Runs and drives very well, good oil pressure and working overdrive, no untoward noises on the move.

Exterior

A very bright example with an excellent appearance, lovely paintwork and excellent chrome. The hood is an expensive mohair item finished unusually in brown.

Interior

Fitted with uprated seats finished in black leather, a walnut finish dashboard and a replacement carpet set that remains in excellent condition.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.

  • If you are going to use your MGB for everyday use, for competition, or your current gearbox is giving you trouble then our Mazda gearbox conversion might be an ideal solution for you.

  • When you own a classic car knowing where to get the best spare parts is crucial. We have a dedicated Parts Manager who will track down the best quality and hardest to find part for your car, we like to call this Automotive Archaeology, if it’s available ... we will find it.

  • Classic cars are special, and we can provide MOT testing for yours.

  • We clean and air dry the underside of your cherished classic and treat with a choice of clear or black waxoyl.

  • If you need to store your classic car for a short period or more long term, wouldn't it be reassuring to know that it was being stored by a highly skilled professional team who love their work?

  • When your car is with us we have a wide selection of courtesy cars for you to use.
