An extremely attractive example in possibly the best colour for an early MGF, Tahiti Blue. With just one former keeper, we've known the car since 2007 and have an extensive history print out for the car detailing everything that we have carried out on the car including selling it to the last keeper in 2014.

It is in excellent condition throughout and the diligent maintenance has ensured that it performs as well as it looks.

An MGF makes an extremely practical proposition as a daily driver, the hydrolastic suspension providing a comfortable but sporty ride and you are kept safe by ABS braking and a drivers airbag.

A lovely example offered with our comprehensive 3 month warranty.

Available to view, by appointment please, in our dry and well lit sales barn.

Bodywork

In excellent condition for its age, the fitment of mudflaps early on in its life has helped protect the bodywork well with none of the use issues evident.

Mechanical

Regular servicing has paid dividends with the car performing exceptionally well on road test with a quiet yet responsive engine delivering remarkable economy for a sports car. We fitted an MLS head gasket back in 2010 and the car has had two cambelt changes since then.

Exterior

The hood is in excellent condition, the rear window is clear, all of the alloy wheels are in great shape and shod with near new Toyo tyres, the paintwork benefits from a recent full machine polish and truly shines.

Interior

Fitted with a couple of upgrades including alloy heater controls and the updated centre console, you can quickly get comfortable in the nicely patinated black leather seats.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.

  • The K-Series engine can have an issue with its head gasket. Here at Beech Hill Garage every vehicle we change a cylinder head gasket on is fitted with one of our own "reconditioned" cylinder heads. Each unit is crack tested, pressure tested and face skimmed. By doing this we know we are fitting a good unit to your car. We use the latest evolution of gasket. This is a genuine MG Rover multi layered steel (MLS) gasket and stainless steel dowels. No other gasket will do.

  • An important part of owning certain models is the adjustment of the Hydrogas suspension. We have the right tools, environment and experience to make this routine.

  • When you own a classic car knowing where to get the best spare parts is crucial. We have a dedicated Parts Manager who will track down the best quality and hardest to find part for your car, we like to call this Automotive Archaeology, if it’s available ... we will find it.

  • We clean and air dry the underside of your cherished classic and treat with a choice of clear or black waxoyl.
