On offer is this delightful Morris Minor Tourer finished the wonderful colour scheme of Old English White with a red hood and red interior trim. Converted from a 2 door saloon several years ago, the whole car has been exceptionally well cared for and as a drives very nicely. Overall, the condition of the car is excellent with solid bodywork and sound mechanics.

Ideal for pootling around the country lanes but with enough oomph to keep up with modern traffic.

Tax and MoT exempt, and very economical.

Nice examples are hard to find and we don't expect this one to hang around too long.

Bodywork

The paintwork is in great shape with good panel fit and only a couple of minor blemishes but certainly nothing to detract from the excellent appearance.

Mechanical

The car performed faultlessly on test proving very easy to drive with a light clutch, progressive brakes and a good turn of speed. It is relatively quiet with good damping, the rear shocks appear new, and evidence of regular and diligent maintenance, supported by a good amount of history detailing the work carried out.

Exterior

Sporting a relatively new hood, the external appearance is of a bright, well cared for motor car with all of the fixtures and fittings in good shape. The car is fitted with relatively new radial tyres all round.

Interior

The contrast between the white dashboard and the red upholstery is lovely, being a later Minor it has the lid for the glove box alongside the centrally mounted speedometer. Both carpets and seats are in good condition with only a couple of marks on the passenger seat.

Apart from our accurate and reliable description of this car we believe you will not find a better bunch of chaps to deal with; we know our MGs inside out, we won’t flannel you with sales speak and we aim to provide you with a car that you will be bringing back in a year’s time when the next service and MOT is due, no sooner! However, if you do have a problem we will stand by our car and help you in every way possible. We like to think that 38 years in this business counts for something.

We are in the quiet Berkshire countryside but close to the M4 and Mortimer Railway Station. Our local pub, the Elm Tree is just a few minutes’ walk away and serves fantastic food and proper beers. Call us to arrange a viewing and a test-drive and come and make a day of it.
