It was an absolute delight on road test and reminded me why the late GTs are so practical and surprisingly comfortable. After several decades of driving tired MGBs, this one is a revelation with a smooth responsive engine, slick gearbox and effortless overdrive, an absolute honey.
Everywhere you look, it has the appearance of a near new car with spotless screw heads, unmarked carpets etc.
